College Degree — Warren National University — A distance-education institution

Is your bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution?

No — I could not afford to go to a local college while working full-time, and I could not afford other expensive distance-education colleges either. I studied very hard, days and nights, in order to pass my degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) while working full-time as an IT Hardware Technician. So, I am so grateful and thankful to Warren National University, it was the only affordable option I had back in 2006.

When I started my college, I was told that Warren National University (WNU) in the process of obtaining accreditation, nevertheless, I had no other option. I was hoping and praying that WNU get accreditation eventually. WNU applied for accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS). In 2008, the NCACS did not approve accreditation for WNU. As a result, WNU announced that it would cease operations on March 31, 2009. The news was very disappointing for me and students in my class, but since I had no other choice, I continued my studies with WNU, and I was so lucky to finish my Degree before the university ceased operation.

Yes, I do. I started my career as professional IT Consultant in the year 2010
